100 years ago today, a young woman by the name of Juliette Gordon Low began an organization that has gone on to leave a legacy in history, create friendships and unforgettable memories for girls all over the nation and I am one of them. Girl Scouts of the USA
will always have a special place in my heart.
I'll always cherish those memories, especially my visit to Savannah, Georgia to Miss Low's home where it all started. Not only was it a chance to camp, make crafts, (and sell cookies), but it was a chance to bond, share memories and appreciate the history behind it all. Here are all the patches and pins I earned during my time as a Girl Scout. I was a cadette! To all the past and current Girl Scouts out there, keep the legacy going and continue to promote something positive for young girls to look up to!
